I am delighted to continue to support the 2020 festival launched by

my predecessor, Right Worshipful Brother C.A. Stuart Hadler.

I'm sure you are aware that this is in support of the Grand

Charity and the MCF, and comes to a close next year,

culminating in a celebratory lunch on Saturday 27th June 2020 .

The Freemasons' Grand Charity

291 Walking for Gold

On Saturday, the 18th May 2019, twenty three

Brethren and wives/partners took part in a

sponsored walk around the Apex Park in

Burnham-on-Sea, raising over £4000

As of December 2019 we had raised £740 per member, of a £750 target.
The final results will be announced at the 2020 celebration lunch on 27th June.

The Forest of Mendip Lodge, No 8019 have launched a fundraising event to raise money for the 2020 Festival, in conjunction with the Mendip Gliding Club. “Soar over Somerset” is a raffle, with tickets being predominantly sold via lodge charity stewards. The lucky winner will enjoy a glider flight, soaring over the beautiful Somerset countryside…

The Festival Celebration is now confirmed for Saturday 27th June 2020, and is to be a mid-day event held at thee Bristol City Football ground. This venue has been chosen as it can accommodate the anticipated numbers expected for a sit down luncheon. The ticket price seems likely to be £35 per head. More details…
